About the Role

The Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled External Affairs Officer to join our team. As a key member of our External Affairs Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the organization's policy and influencing the healthcare landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policy initiatives to promote the Faculty's goals and objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, healthcare professionals, and advocacy groups
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy decisions and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain effective communication strategies to engage with policymakers and the public
  • Collaborate with the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare to advance the Faculty's policy agenda
Requirements
  • Proven experience in policy development, public affairs, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop evidence-based recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering results
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare policy landscape and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments
