​The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be partnered with an International cleantech business dedicated to providing bespoke solutions to the solar industry. Using innovative technologies, robotics, and software, our client boasts an excellent track record with some of the world's biggest solar developers – offering a suite of solutions that optimise, inspect, manage, and map solar plants

Following their continued success, our client is looking to hire an experienced Technical Account Manager, who will be joining their BD & Solar Solutions team. This individual will be playing a major role in the team, working with customers across the entire technical sales cycle.

Our client is seeking a proven sales professional, who will ideally be combining their experience in the solar industry with a technical background and ability to sell B2B software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the wider BD team across the entire technical sales cycle
  • Act as a brand champion, increasing the understanding of their suite of solutions externally as well as internally
  • Identify new sales opportunities by keeping up to date on the market and prospective customer needs
  • Build long-term relations with existing and new accounts by supporting them in effectively using technical product offerings
  • Relay customer feedback to internal teams, ensuring customer needs are met
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and product training sessions to customers
  • Engage in technical presales discussions
  • Responsible for achieving revenue targets
  • Provide additional services to increase revenue (reports, analytics etc.)
Job Requirements:
  • >3 years in a B2B software solutions selling position
  • >3 years in a relevant industry (Solar, Cleantech, Energy Software)
  • Technical background (Engineering or Computer Science)
  • Successful track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to deliver in independent & cross-functional environments
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed
