Role Overview

We are in search of a Technical Account Manager to strategize and implement plans aimed at achieving specific business objectives and growth targets for the Siemens EDA Systems Business, particularly in PCB design and analysis offerings across the EMEA Region.

As a Sales Professional, you will prioritize all System PCB and systems product opportunities, ensuring effective resource allocation for field technical management.

This role offers the flexibility of remote work from various locations in Western Europe, with a hybrid working model available, requiring occasional customer visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical account engagement strategies and campaigns to meet growth objectives.
  • Lead and oversee account campaigns for designated product lines.
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding of all aspects of technical campaigns, including decision-making processes, success metrics, and resource requirements.
  • Establish regular communication with customer management to support successful campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with account teams on business opportunities and maintain engagement tracking mechanisms to effectively summarize data and communicate progress across multiple accounts.
  • Define, monitor, and report on priorities for all engagements, maintaining close communication with technical management to balance short- and long-term objectives.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships to foster strategic partnerships for Siemens EDA in product and technology.
  • Act as the primary field resource to identify competitive threats and opportunities.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback, competitive insights, and general market intelligence to product business units, aligning product direction with customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as electronics.
  • Proven experience in software sales within the electronics sector, ideally in PCB or ASIC.
  • Expertise in PCB design and analysis technology, including product and market knowledge.
  • Strong skills in value proposition selling and negotiation.
  • Passion for cultivating new business and relationships.
  • Ability to create and sustain technical campaigns.
  • Set clear expectations and decision criteria.
  • Proficient communication skills in English; proficiency in an additional European language is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to drive closure on technical campaigns.
  • Capability to work effectively within a complex organizational structure, collaborating across account management, technical teams, and business unit R&D and marketing.
