The post of Student Outreach and Recruitment Officer reports to the Head of Outreach and Recruitment and works across different departments within Admissions, Registry, Communications and Publications Teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in raising awareness of the AA, growing relationships with and driving applications from feeder schools and colleges and attracting prospective students through delivering effective outreach and engagement activities.

Working with the Events Coordinator and Admissions department, the postholder will support the Head of Outreach and Recruitment in the delivery of outreach, recruitment, engagement and conversion events for prospective students which include virtual and in-person open days, outreach workshops, Day at the AA taster days, Applicant Drop-In sessions, the Postgraduate Exemplary Projects Showcase and the Introduction Week for new students. The role will involve identifying and contacting staff to represent the AA at school/college events and higher education fairs and managing and booking requests from visiting groups of prospective students who wish to find out more about the AA. The role will also support the coordination of communication with prospective students, school representatives and career advisors about the admissions timelines and key events. The postholder will be required to undertake some travel around the UK and will also be required to work some evenings and weekends with time off in lieu arranged accordingly.

This is a one year fixed-term contract with the potential to extend.
