Programme Officer Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Programme Officer to join our team at Signature Recruitment. As a Programme Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth start to the new academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Departmental Inquiries: Respond to high volumes of queries via email and in person, providing excellent customer service and signposting as necessary.
  • Support Student Journey: Contribute to module, programme evaluation, and assessment processes, ensuring a seamless experience for students.
  • Administrative Support: Update spreadsheets with accuracy and attention to detail, and assist with event preparation and execution.
  • Team Collaboration: Work flexibly as part of a team, supporting colleagues during high-volume activity and completing ad hoc administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • Administrative Experience: Proven experience in an administrative and student-facing role within a higher education setting.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Team Player: An enthusiastic, proactive, and positive team member with excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Highly proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to work on new systems, particularly Student Records Systems.
