Domus Recruitment are working with our client in Widnes, who are looking for a Payroll Team Leader on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a Payroll Team Leader, you will guide a small team through the day-to-day payroll processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone that enjoys a challenge of working in a fast-paced, high volume Payroll Department.

Key Responsibilities of a Payroll Team Leader:
  • Ensuring the day-to-day processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Complete monthly payroll checking and reconciliation.
  • Responding to escalated queries.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the payroll function through building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Lead on TUPE process in conjunction with the Payroll Manager.
  • Leading the development of the Payroll Officers through their career pathway.
Payroll Team Leader Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Payroll Team Leader,
  • A good foundation in payroll knowledge.
  • Confident using excel, including using Vlookups and data manipulation
  • CIPP qualification is desirable.
  • Have strong communication skills
