About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Leader Recruitment Group. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of quality care services and strategic planning for developments within the home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of care professionals to provide therapeutic care and support to children and young people.
  • Develop and implement care plans to achieve the best outcomes for each individual child.
  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure high-quality care practices.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including budgets and rotas.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide a safe and loving home environment.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience working in a Residential Children's home.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People/Children's Residential Workforce.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to work shifts and sleep-ins.
  • Full driving license.
