GP Accountant, Private Equity

Join our team at a global private equity firm We are witnessing remarkable growth and are expanding our presence in London. A new opportunity has emerged to collaborate with the GP Controller in handling various GP accounting, reporting, and capital tasks.
- Support in preparing General Partner NAV packages by coordinating with the GP administrator
- Review quarterly financial statements, disclosures, and supporting schedules prepared by the GP administrator
- Review partner capital statements provided by the GP administrator
- Assist in preparing capital call and distributions by working closely with the GP administrator
- Manage an internal reporting portal for GP members, involving posting quarterly financial statements, NAV statements, capital activity, tax documents, and reporting items
- Allocate carried interest and calculate vesting on an unrealised basis for quarter-end reporting
- Distribute realised carried interest earned from funds
- Maintain carried interest and GP investment ownership schedules
- Keep records of a GP aggregator entity that consolidates different GP entities into one partnership
- Prepare support schedules for quarterly tax estimates and filings with the tax team and external advisors
- Handle other ad-hoc requests and reporting for partners
Qualifications:
- Must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Some relevant experience in Private Equity, whether from an audit background, industry experience, or fund administration
- Hold a degree with excellent academic credentials
- Ability to work effectively in a small team
- Strong interpersonal skills
