As one of the largest, most sophisticated spirits markets in the world, the UK offers significant potential for our portfolio of premium brands. We're building a world-class team to create a new and exciting business that is rooted in strong foundations, led by our values and long-term commercial ambition. This role will provide support across the Sales functions, which will give a great insight into the Commercial world at Suntory Global Spirits UK. This is a new role that an individual can make their own and be an integral part of an inclusive, winning team.

Role Responsibilities


• Provide general, meaningful support, coordination and administration for the Sales team.

• Manage department budget and PR/PO process for the team, which will require a deep understanding of programmes and spend.

• Assist in planning and coordinating sales events, meetings, and conferences.

• Handle event logistics, including venue booking, catering, and materials preparation.

• General Administration duties (e.g. Invoice Administration, new vendor forms, tracking administration).

• Manage the Sales Director's schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.

• Organize and manage client meetings, including logistics and follow-ups where requested.

• Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.

• Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls.

• Work closely with other departments, assistants, and facilities to ensure alignment and support for the Sales Team.

Qualifications


• Experience supporting Sales teams in a similar role

• Knowledge or interest in the spirits industry

• Knowledge of London (accommodation, transportation etc)

• Communication

• Planning and Organization

• Team Player - Ability to build rapport and effective working relationships

• Problem solving and proactive – taking accountability for tasks

• "Can do" attitude

• Anticipate need- Service orientated individual with a positive outlook

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Clear, objective and positive communication

• Strong organisation and prioritisation of tasks

• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

• Capacity to manage issues and escalate appropriately.

• MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Ability to think broadly and creatively
