Job Description

Oversee the Business Unit, with a strong emphasis on developing the sales strategy and execution.Ensuring efficient and effective operations.Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance business performance.Manage relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, promoting a culture of high performance.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.Drive continuous improvement initiatives.Manage the department's budget and control operational costs.Oversee and manage risk within the department. The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Unit Director should have:

Must have experience of commercial leadership within a logistics/3PL environment. Strong experience in a leadership role within the transport and distribution industry.Excellent external network, with the ability to open up new revenue streams.Excellent team leadership and people management skills.A good understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.The ability to manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
