Our client is a successful private business operating within the Building Products industry. With accountability for all aspects of the business the Managing Director will be responsible for the strategic direction, cohesion and development of a Divisional business unit encompassing the following responsibilities:

Developing and leading the strategy and long-term growth plans
Ensuring that management have the necessary skills and capability to deliver business objectives
Coaching and developing the team through effective goal setting, regular one-to-ones and appraisals

Candidates should be experienced Managing Directors who have a track record of enhancing operational and commercial performance through the enhancement of people and processes in a Construction Products Manufacturing business.

In addition, the appropriate individual should have previous experience of full P&L management, and customer engagement, in a company supplying multiple product types with short lead times.

A proven track record of delivering results through improved management, program leadership and manufactured solutions will be critical in this ambitious and growing organisation.
