About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Director for the UK and Ireland region. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, identifying business opportunities, and developing strategies to drive growth and expansion in the UK and Ireland markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis and Strategy
    • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the UK and Ireland markets.
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and expansion in these markets.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the UK and Ireland markets.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, government officials, and industry experts.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for delivering business results in the UK and Ireland markets.
    • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on market trends, business performance, and strategic initiatives.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, government officials, and industry experts.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, international relations, or economics.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in international business development, market research, or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic recommendations.
    • Proven track record of driving business growth and expansion in international markets.
Preferred Skills
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
    • Knowledge of Basque and Spanish is desirable.
  • Industry Knowledge
    • Knowledge of the British and Irish markets, as well as Basque industrial and institutional markets.
