Working hours: Mon - Thurs - 8:30am - 4:45pm and Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the Company:
Our client, a leading supplier of precious metals to the jewellery, decorative, and industrial sectors, is part of one of Europe's largest refiners and processors of precious metals. Based in the heart of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, they are a friendly, well-established, and growing business with 280 dedicated employees. They are currently seeking a motivated Industrial Sales Administrator to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the sale of Industrial Products and Services, including industrial, dental, and additive manufactured products
  • Provide administrative support to Business Development Managers (BDMs)
  • Produce accurate customer quotations for manufactured and bought-in products
  • Handle customer calls
  • Process and track orders
  • Correspond with customers and provide order updates
  • Support the maintenance of quality management systems
  • Liaise with team members, departments, and senior management
Requirements:
  • Solid background in administration
  • Experience in customer sales, with quoting and knowledge of precious metal pricing being an advantage
  • Proficiency in Excel, including simple formulas
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Resilience and the ability to cope well under pressure
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and willingness to engage in a multi-skilled environment
  • An interest in additive manufacturing and applied engineering would be beneficial
