Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Support:
- Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and preparing purchase orders.
- Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management.
- Finance Support:
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Administrative Duties:
- Provide general administrative support to the procurement and finance teams.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes.
- Handle correspondence and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports.
Qualifications:
- Ideally hold a qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field or has demonstrable previous experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in procurement, finance, or administrative roles is preferred, ideally experience in imports / exports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive, positive attitude and has willingness and initiative to improve and introduce new processes / systems
