**Job Description**:
**37.5 Hours per week. Monday to Friday. 08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00.**

**Purpose of the Post**:
Support the Finance department with all administration duties.

**Main Duties**:

- Administer and track the reconciliation of internal and external invoices received on a daily basis.
- Generate and communication of client invoices - ensuring that invoice values are in agreement with client contract.
- Where required assist in the recovery of outstanding debts and maintaining a log of outstanding debts.
- Maintain the Purchase Order systems for the Manchester Facility.
- Purchasing and creating orders for office supplies, Laboratory equipment, exhibitions, IT Equipment.
- To perform credit checks on potential customers and feedback to the Managing Director.
- Assist in the creation of new clients on the system.
- To type or input results and create test reports templates.
- Create and generate sales parts and quotes.
- Raise Proforma invoices for the wider team.
- Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**
- Computer literate, knowledge of telephone system with good telephone manner
- Good organisational skills
- Good customer care skills
- Typing Skills
- Numeracy Skills
- Enthusiasm, energy and a driven outlook.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Excel, Word and Outlook
- Maths and English at GCSE C or above or equivalent

**Desirable**
- Experience of working in laboratory accredited to ISO17025
- Experience of eurodat and eLIMS systems
- Language Skills (French/ German)
- Accountancy Skills
- Ability to delegate tasks
- First Aid Qualification
- Science or Business Degree
