Job Description

Boccard is a company that requires a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement and Finance Assistant to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement Support
  2. The Procurement and Finance Assistant will assist in the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and preparing purchase orders.
  3. The assistant will also maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records, coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management.

Finance Support

  1. The Procurement and Finance Assistant will process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests, assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets, and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Administrative Duties

  1. The Procurement and Finance Assistant will provide general administrative support to the procurement and finance teams, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes.
  2. The assistant will also handle correspondence and communication with internal and external stakeholders, assist in the preparation of presentations and reports, and perform other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field or has demonstrable previous experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in procurement, finance, or administrative roles is preferred, ideally experience in imports/exports.
  • The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also required, along with a proactive, positive attitude and willingness to improve and introduce new processes/systems.

Estimated Salary:$55,000 - $75,000 per year
