About the Role:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Awards Manager to oversee the management and administration of several prestigious international award programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-end luxury industry, with direct exposure to senior figures, including designers, owners, and industry stakeholders. The role is based in Wimbledon, London, and will involve some international travel.

The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of experience in administrative or event management roles, particularly within sectors catering to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs). You will need to be highly organised, proactive, and able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Why Apply?

This is a unique opportunity to take on a key role within a prestigious international awards programme, offering exposure to high-profile figures in the luxury industry. As an Awards Manager, you'll be at the forefront of coordinating world-class events, working with a dynamic team, and gaining valuable experience in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. If you're passionate about event management, have a keen eye for detail, and are looking for a role that offers both responsibility and the chance to travel internationally, this position is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple award programmes within the client’s portfolio.
  • Act as the key liaison between judges, nominees, and entrants.
  • Develop and execute timelines for nominations, judging, and announcements.
  • Conduct research and gather relevant information to support the awards process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and implement marketing campaigns promoting the awards.
  • Coordinate travel schedules and on-site visits for judges.
  • Assist in the recruitment and management of judging panels, ensuring industry representation from a wide range of experts.
  • Oversee event budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
  • Work closely with external sponsors and partners to support the awards programmes.
  • Lead and develop junior members of the events team.
  • Manage guest communications and ensure smooth coordination of award events.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years of experience in event management or high-level administrative roles, preferably within luxury sectors.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Salesforce and HTML is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage budgets, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work outside of standard hours when required.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and luxury markets is advantageous.
