Berry Recruitment is out looking for an experienced Payroll Officer.
Pay £13.02 per hour PAYE - Umbrella Pay £15.93.
Contract Initially - 4 Months with possibility to extend.
Full Time in the office - Monday to Friday
Day to Day
Process Payroll data according to statutory requirements to meet monthly/yearly deadlines.
Undertake general housekeeping on the Payroll system as directed by the Senior Payroll Officer to ensure that system integrity and security is maintained.
Processing of overpayments including raising invoices for leavers and liaising with the credit control team as required.
Assist the Senior Payroll Administrator with end of year processes to ensure all statutory requirements are met.
Respond to payroll enquiries.Experience
Must have minimum 1 or 2 years previous experience in Payroll.
Good understanding of payroll and pensions legislation, statutory payments and deductions.
Experience of using Microsoft Windows and Office software.
Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
