About the role:

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) with a specialism in challenging behaviours to join a well-respected primary school in Barnet. This is a full-time, long-term position, offering a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Application Requirements:
• Experience working with children with challenging behaviours is essential.
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory, as long as you have practical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and group support to students with challenging behaviours.
• Develop and implement tailored behaviour management strategies.
• Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Assist in the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
• Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere to encourage student engagement and success.
