About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Challenging Behaviours to join our inclusive and supportive school environment. This is a full-time, long-term position where you will play a crucial role in supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students with special educational needs.

Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
• Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach to managing difficult situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with challenging behaviours.
• Implement and follow individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to create a positive and effective learning environment.
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to support students’ emotional and social development.
