About the role:
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Challenging Behaviours to join our dynamic team. This role has become available due to our continuous growth and commitment to providing exceptional support for our students. The successful candidate will work closely with our SEN team to support students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring that they receive the tailored assistance they need to thrive. This role offers the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of children with challenging behaviours, working in a supportive and well-resourced environment that prioritises both student and staff development.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with challenging behaviours.
• A calm, patient, and resilient demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEN or behaviour management (preferred but not essential).
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing tailored support to students with challenging behaviours.
• Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
• Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to ensure cohesive support.
• Monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour.
