This is an exciting opportunity for a your first step into industry and contribute to Abcam's Antibody Product Portfolio expansion.
This role will be part of the Characterisation Team which is part of the Antibody Validation and Characterization Group holding a key function in the validation and characterization of new antibodies and lots of existing products ensuring functionality for our customers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Performing routine automated Immunohistochemistry assays
- Performing microtomy/cryotomy
- Producing tissue microarrays
- Performing digitisation and QC of IHC slides (Leica Aperio AT2 slide scanner)
- Accurately recording experimental details in Lab notebooks or the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) system.
- Abide by Laboratory SOPs and work within Abcam H & S, Ethical and Quality standards
