Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Research Associate to contribute to Abcam's Antibody Product Portfolio expansion.

The successful candidate will join the Characterisation Team and be passionate about validating antibodies to the highest standard.

The Characterisation Team plays a critical function in the validation of new antibodies and new lots of existing products, ensuring functionality for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot, ELISA, and Immunocytochemistry assays.
  • Prepare cells, plates, or tissues for analysis.
  • Accurately record experimental details in Lab notebooks or the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) system.
  • Prepare standard buffers and reagents according to defined operating procedures.
  • Provide general lab support, maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

You will be a highly organized individual and a good team player, preferably with experience in a Laboratory environment. A demonstrated track record of adapting rapidly to new challenges and delivering quality results would be ideal.

Experience in either Flow cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, Western Blot, or Immunohistochemistry assays and familiarity with various mammalian cell lines are desirable.
