Radiography Department Assistant

The Imaging Department at Maidstone Hospital, including the satellite site at Hermitage court and Tunbridge Wells has a vacancy for a full time Radiology Department Assistant to join their busy and friendly team.
The hours required are 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day period.
Radiology provides a wide range of imaging investigations within various imaging modalities, including X-Ray, MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Procedures.
The duties of this post include supporting Radiographers, Radiologists, Nurses and undertaking clerical duties, while rotating through all areas of the Radiology department.
You should ideally have excellent communication skills and full computer literacy with experience of patient databases. You should have a desire to expand beyond your current experiences with a willingness to meet new challenges.Previous clinical experience in a healthcare setting is essential.
You will need to be flexible in your approach to work and be able to work varied shifts across a 7 day a week, 24 hour rota.
Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent.
The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 760,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex.
We work from two main clinical sites:
Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury.
Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.
