About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Booking Clerk to join our ENT Department at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing patient referrals, waiting lists, and providing administrative support to our clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage patient referrals and waiting lists, ensuring timely and efficient processing
  • Provide administrative support to ENT clinicians, including preparing patient records and correspondence
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Good standard of general education to GCSE Standard, English & Maths Grade C
  • NVQ 2 or equivalent experience
  • Administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Competent using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Awareness of National Patient Access targets and knowledge of Patient Centre or similar systems
