Cafe Assistant

The successful applicant will be required to deliver the highest level of customer service and ensure the Café is presented to a high standard at all times.
Business at the Park fluctuates over the year so we are looking to appoint someone with initiative who uses their time wisely to plan ahead and is self motivated.
This is a part time role working 18-24 hours/week over 3-4 days - term time only. Shifts will be allocated on a weekly basis. Some flexibility would be welcomed to cover weekend shifts when large Park events / weddings are taking place. The hourly rate of pay will be £9.50 - £11.44 per hour.Duties include:
- To ensure all areas are presented to a high standard including cleanliness, fully stocked whilst adhering to Health and Safety and Food Compliance
- Assist in completing a monthly stock take
- Open and closing shifts duties
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Deal with customer issues in a professional manner with a view to reaching a satisfactory conclusion
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience in a Food and Beverage / café role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self motivated, proactive and use initiative
- Presentable and clear communication both verbal and written
- Reliable, good timekeeping and organisational skills and a team player
Due to the location of the property it is advisable to have your own transport to be able to fulfil the required shifts for the role.
We are an award-winning country estate set in 66 acres of beautiful grounds with panoramic views across the River Severn to Wales and the rolling hills beyond.
Our magnificently refurbished Manor House and Rustic quaint Barn is available for exclusive wedding hire and is fully equipped to host corporate events.
In addition 'Foxhills Spa' is located within the Manor offering a range of Spa Days and treatments.The Country Park is open all year and offers membership options for people who want to make use of the play areas, feed the animals or stop for coffee or lunch.
