We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Hospitality Assistant to join our team at St Monica Trust. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional food and drink services to our residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a welcoming and clean environment for our residents and customers in our village cafe.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Chef to deliver a high-quality food and drink service.
- Operate the EPOS system to serve customers efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen and cafe area.
- Assist with closing down the kitchen at the end of the day and removing waste.
- Good standard of general education.
- Knowledge and experience of good food hygiene practices.
- Knowledge of health and safety principles.
- Barista training (desirable).
- Food hygiene qualification level 2 (desirable).
- Diploma (or NVQ) level 1 Catering/Food Service or equivalent (desirable).
- Experience working in a busy cafe/restaurant environment (desirable).
- Experience of working with older people (desirable).
- Experience using an EPOS system (desirable).
