The opportunity:


Our Strategic Relationships within Zurich have and are continuing to rapidly increase in size, breadth, and opportunity and therefore we are looking to expand our really successful team with a new role, Strategic Account Executive.

This is a unique career opportunity, joining a high performing team within Zurich, passionate about delivering market-leading relationship leadership in support for our key distributors in the UK.

We are looking for exceptional individuals, able to operate at board level across all customer segments, products, and capacity arrangements.

The Strategic Account Executive role offers a unique opportunity for personal development and exposure to Executive level stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Key responsibilities:


Support the Strategic Account Managers to execute Sales & Distribution strategies across all market facing units, aligned to the UK business plan.

Work with the Strategic Account Managers to develop new and existing distribution channels.

Production and analysis of management information.


Using raw data to establish Strategic account distribution trends, their implications for Zurich and the critical success factors to deliver the UK plan.


Support the Strategic Account Managers to collaborate with Regional and MFU teams to ensure consistency, improve awareness and execution of the UK and Regional plans.


Take an active part in business reviews and develop a market network across both key strategic relationships and internal stakeholders.

Implement a consistent communication strategy across the key internal functions, improving awareness and support to the business.

Support strategic projects, typically as part of ongoing mergers and acquisitions or business improvement initiatives.


Coordination across all functions to support the Strategic Account Team in the management of legal agreements, tender processes, commercial arrangements, and deal renewal processes.


Your skills and experience:
Strong Financial Acumen and regulatory awareness.

Experience in data management and presentation skills.

Experience in a Market facing role.

Strong analytical skills – use of databases & financial models.

Ability to form strong networks with and influence internal & external stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills particularly with senior colleagues.

Credible experience in Business-to-Business negotiation and partnership development.

Model behaviours that demonstrate commitment, professionalism and positive mindset.

Experience in using insights and data to drive results and support delivery of plan.

Able to manage and meet deadlines whilst working under pressure.
