This senior sales role within FOOD is based in HARLOW, UK. If you speak fluent


CHINESE (Mandarin/Cantonese) + EU Languages ( French or German are really useful) and have a solid sales background in food, this is a lovely opportunity to join a growing specialist food business that imports food products and ingredients into the UK and Holland.

The role is very autonomous and you will be talking to existing clients (all supermarkets and retailers ) and new clients and introduce them to new products.

The role is exciting and caters to the growing passion for Asian foods that we can see across Europe. You need to have a solid B2B sales background in the FOOD industry for this role and have worked.

There are excellent career opportunities in this expanding sector at the moment and there will be international travel involved to meet clients.

This is a well-established food import/export business that specialises in importing specialists food products from Asia and supplies supermarkets and restaurants.

The company has gone through a recent explosion in growth as a result of the increased interest in home-cooking that started during Covid.

People are now experimenting with new flavours and new dishes and this company has been able to expand strongly in order to accommodate increasingly sophisticated and international dishes.

In this role you develop new business within retail or hospitality clients . there is a sales admin support team that will help with fulfilment

The role:
n1) sales and business developmentn2) Sales negotiation & travel to see customersnDutiesnSales & new business developmentnLooking after a mix of existing and new key retail & restaurant clients including a portfolio of supermarketsnWork with the product development team to introduce new products and expand the product portfolionOversee the food product portfolio and optimize the sales revenuenEnsure that the portfolio is achieving its sales targetsnManage the P+L for your portfolionManage the sales forecast, prepare the monthly sales report and analysisnDrive the retail sell in / sell out, grow the market sharenBe creative and innovate with Marketing to boost the sales revenue and enhance the customers' awarenessnDevise promotions and measure resultsnMake sure clients always have sufficient inventorynRequirementsnFluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)nWilling to travel within EU frequently (3 weeks a month is expected)nFluent in another EU languages (German or French is highly preferred but other language is welcome)nPrevious B2B sales experience in FoodnCar driver is essential (you will visit customers)
