We are currently recruiting for a Social Media Executive to join our team working 1 day a week on 6-month FTC.
This role will give you the opportunity to create authentic and relatable social media content, connecting more people with the National Trust.
This is an ideal role for somebody who loves social media, and is brimming with new ideas, but who might not already have corporate marketing experience.
What it's like to work here
This role sits within the Social Media Team, as part of the Communications & Marketing Directorate. As storytellers first and foremost, we work closely with people all over the organisation to get their work seen by the people online who care about it.
The Social Media Team are currently in a time of development and growth, testing new concepts and constantly experimenting. We love to try new things
You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. Many of us in the team work flexibly and in different locations. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
The pro rata calculation will be determined according to the fact that this is a part-time position
What you'll be doing
You'll plan and create content for our social media channels with the guidance and support of a Senior Social Media Executive.
This will likely involve some travel to places we care for. There will be some requirement to support with community management (responding to comments and DMs), and also reporting on the performance of the content created.

A genuine fascination for social media, who dedicates a significant amount of time online and possesses a deep affection for everything related to the internet. A sound understanding of what makes on-line communities tick and what content performs well in these spaces. A knowledge of the basic steps involved in creating and uploading video content to social media platforms. The ability to work proactively and independently The ability to work as part of a team, sharing ideas and learning. Organisation and time management skills.The package
