The role:


Leading the People Operations team, including People Business Partnering, in designing and delivering an excellent, respectful work environment and fir for purpose policies, processes, rewards and benefits.


The things you'll do:

  • People agenda & strategy: Working with the Chief People Officer to set the vision & strategy for the whole people function, and being accountable for executing the people operations part.
  • Running the entire people operations team activities, making sure all practical and legal aspects of HR are executed on time, at a high quality and to budget.
  • Ensure effective Employee Relations practices are in place and upheld
  • Metrics: Oversee the creation and continuous development of metrics across the whole people team, and the reporting of them in a meaningful way that creates buy in across the organisation
  • Ensure our benefits and reward offering is competitive, effective and costefficient, aligning with talent management frameworks, and well managed
  • Ensure we have a workplace experience in place that is in line with our culture and values, including an office and remote environment that is functional and inspiring for people, and functional for dogs
  • Attract, hire, coach and develop a high performing People operations team.

The skills you'll bring:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing a team, including managers of individual contributors
  • Strong knowledge of requirements to be at minimum compliant in our people policies, and ability to implement policy across the organisation in a way that enable people managers to be effective in their role
  • Ability to build and maintain best practice processes for employee relations
  • Ability to partner with and influence a wider range of stakeholders from different teams and levels
  • Ability to draw on knowledge, experience or research to evolve current or design new, fit for purpose, reward strategies and benefits offerings and implement them
  • Analytical mindset with an aptitude for creating metrics with the most impact
  • Understanding of how to best utilise systems and technology to scale people operations

Here's a taster of how our recruitment process works:

  • _ Once you have applied your CV will be reviewed by the Hiring Manager._
- _ If selected, you will then have a call with the Talent Acquisition Manager for 30 minutes to understand more about your skills and experience. _
- _Should you be successful, the next stage will be a video call with one of our Senior Leadership Members for 45 minutes. _
- _If successful, you will be invited back to present a task back to a panel of interviewers for 1 hour. _
- _The final stage is a video call with our Chief People Officer for 45 minutes._
