Marketing Effectiveness Lead

Reporting to the Head of Pan-Partnership Customer Planning you will be responsible for shaping, embedding and socialising the 'Partnership Marketing Effectiveness Framework' and associated tools across all Partnership Customer teams, linking in with the Product teams to develop the roadmap for improvements and enhancements.

This plan will be focused on helping the business to make data-led, objective, commercial and more effective marketing investment decisions across all channels.


You will lead the Partnership's approach to marketing measurement and effectiveness, ensuring the framework and associated tools are maintained and being utilised across the Customer function.


You will be active within the Marketing Effectiveness industry, establishing the Partnership as an innovator in the retail space, ensuring that we are considered as thought-leaders as opposed to followers in this area.

Our ambition is for the JLP to be a market leader in marketing effectiveness, winning awards for being best in class (e.g. IPA Effectiveness Awards).

Essential Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of marketing measurement and effectiveness data modelling techniques, including but not limited to MMM, MTA, experimentation etc.
  • Experience making effective data informed decisions, supported by the use of data visualisation tools such as Tableau.
  • Evidence of analytical thinking and ability to interrogate and interpret data from multiple sources.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive datadriven decision making.
  • Project management skills and experience working in a matrix team to deliver.
