In this unique and fulfilling role, you will provide a range of engagement activities, information support and advice to adults and families impacted by domestic abuse, both in our offices and within the community.

Within this role you will have the opportunity to grow and develop as part of a diverse and inclusive team of talented people who provide specialist services to women, men and children when their lives are in crisis

  • Work with the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Support Service Manager to identify, design, plan and deliver services for adults and children who have been exposed to adverse situations such as domestic abuse, substance misuse and poor mental health.
  • Independently manage a demanding caseload, supporting those affected to understand their situation and identify and develop strategies.
  • Support the Domestic and Sexual Abuse Service Manager to expand the play therapy services across Bedfordshire.
  • Use a range of assessment tools, including the Early Help Assessment (EHA), Core 10, Outcomes Star and screening tools to assess adults, children and families' needs.
Maintain accurate records and statistics, confidentially

  • Ensure service users have robust safety and support plans in place and are successfully coordinated across agencies.
Some evening work will be required.

You will need access to your own vehicle (we will reimburse mileage).An Enhanced Disclosure Check is required for this role.
