**More about the role**:
Our Reablement & Step Up/Step Down services put residents at the heart of everything we do. Following an accident or illness, sometimes people need a helping hand to get back to everyday life. That’s where our Unit Support Staff come in. Our goal is to help people to get back on their feet - and regain their independence.

Become a Unit Co-ordinator, and you’ll find your greatness supervising our team of Unit Support Workers as they care for those who need it most. You’ll enable them to do their job at the highest standards, arranging training, monitoring their performance, and ensuring procedures are followed, championing best practice. You will work along side the team on the floor ensuring best practise at times to monitor standards.

You’ll carry out assessments of residents to determine the level of care and support they need - and put the wheels in motion to make it all happen. You’ll demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and be a natural carer. You'll take the lead with completiing person centered care plans and risk assesments.

To support your team weekend working will be required and occasional night shifts.

For this role, you need an NVQ Level 3 in Care (or equivalent qualifications and experience), plus a knack for writing reports and co-ordinating people.
