Company Overview:

Finatal has partnered with a fast growing, tech enabled business at the forefront of its industry, with current revenues at circa £320m, and ambitious plans to double this revenue over the next few years. To support this growth, they are seeking a seasoned Head of M&A with the ability to manage the entire deal flow from origination to integration.

Position Overview:

The company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of M&A to join their team, reporting directly to their newly appointed Group CFO. In this role, you will lead a team of two full-time M&A staff and collaborate with the broader finance and operations team on deals as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

· Drive origination activities.

· Manage all aspects of pricing and valuations.

· Conduct detailed commercial due diligence to understand business models and working practices.

· Structure deals and manage all due diligence workstreams, with tax and legal due diligence outsourced and financial due diligence outsourced for more material deals.

· Execute deals and manage 100-day planning.

· Collaborate with the Operations team to integrate businesses.

· Assist the Group CFO with future fundraising activities.

· Prepare detailed and value-creating reports and analysis for the Board and PE backers.

· Work with the C-Suite on a range of commercial activities.

What We Are Looking For:

· An experienced Head of M&A with a proven track record of managing deal flow from origination to integration.

· Demonstrated ability to drive organic growth initiatives.

· Strong analytical and commercial skills to undertake detailed analysis of business operations.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a highly demanding Board.

· Self-motivated and capable of taking full ownership of all M&A aspects.
