What you'll be doing:
Lead and Support all sourcing and strategic activity for Hawk International Customers, working with the wider Procurement SDU; negotiating pricing and contracting terms and conditions as applicable
Management of key Hawk Development contracts, lead and influence strategies via continuous improvement activities and work closely with Engineering Teams, to ensure an affordable, innovative and sustainable solution is being delivered

Work cross functionally as a member of the Procurement SDU, as well as interfacing across the Air business and with other teams and functions, e.g.

PM, Engineering, Commercial, Finance
Be the primary interface for initial escalation of issues into the Procurement SDU
Attend and support Hawk International Program Management Reviews and support Senior reviews when required
Manage Supplier risk and drive supply chain resilience

Your skills and experiences:
Essential

Previous experience within continuous improvement with proven examples of identifying new ideas that drive improvement, problem solving and working collaboratively with others to identify a solution ideally within a Procurement (or similar) environment
Negotiation skills – experience of price and contractual terms and conditions negotiations
Proven experience of supplier risk and opportunity management
Ability to compile data, analyse and propose recommendations through reports and presentations
Desirable

Previous experience of managing multiple Supplier relationships including sourcing anddevelopment contracts
You will have, or be working towards MCIPS OR have a similar professional qualification OR hold a degree in a STEM or a business related subject (e.g. Economics, Business, Finance)

The Procurement Team:

A Strategic Senior Procurement Engineer with responsibility for In-Service Support of the Hawk International Business, actively managing and driving strategic "Value" related activities for your area of responsibility.

You will be undertaking analysis of supplier pricing to ensure value for money, driving cost reductions and leading affordability campaigns, ensuring effective supplier risk management and supply chain resilience.

You will be an integral stakeholder in enabling Procurement performance through effective Customer relationship and management, providing support to Life Cycle Management and associated Governance activities; all whilst managing your various internal stakeholders.
