Site Procurement Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Procurement Manager to join our client's manufacturing site in the North West. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing purchasing strategies for direct and indirect spending, ensuring optimal supplier performance and price management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement a purchasing strategy that aligns with the business objectives, adding value, mitigating supply chain risk, and delivering cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships, managing contracts, contractual relationships, and contract management to improve the supply base's delivery of goods and services.
  • Lead a team to deliver support to the business, working closely with the UK and group senior management team to contribute to overall business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in managing supplier contracts and purchasing strategies and processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy.
  • Ownership of the purchasing policy, guidelines, and associated documents.
  • Procurement experience gained from a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Ideal MCIPS or high-level CIPS qualification.
