We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing purchasing strategies and processes for direct and indirect spending, ensuring optimal supplier performance and price management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with the company's objectives, adding value, mitigating supply chain risk, and delivering cost savings.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, managing contracts, contractual relationships, and contract management to improve the supply base's delivery of goods and services.
- Lead a team to deliver support to the business, working closely with the UK and group senior management team to contribute to overall business objectives.
- Demonstrable experience in managing supplier contracts and purchasing strategies and processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy.
- Ownership of the purchasing policy, guidelines, and associated documents.
- Procurement experience gained from a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Ideal MCIPS or high-level CIPS qualification.
