We are seeking a highly skilled Site Procurement Manager to join our team at a well-established company in the North West. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for managing purchasing strategies for direct and indirect spending, ensuring optimal supplier performance and price management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a purchasing strategy to add value, mitigate supply chain risk, and deliver cost savings
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and develop contracts to improve the supply base's delivery of goods and services
- Lead a team to deliver support to the business and contribute to overall business objectives
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in managing supplier contracts and purchasing strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy
- Procurement experience gained from a manufacturing/engineering environment
- Ideal MCIPS or high-level CIPS qualification
