Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Lead to join our team at NHS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that we have the necessary goods and services to operate effectively across all sites.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe Procurement Lead will be responsible for:
- Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Negotiating contracts and building relationships with vendors to secure the best possible deals.
- Ensuring that all procurement activities are transparent and compliant with NHS policies.
- Monitoring procurement activities and tracking key performance indicators to provide regular reports to senior management.
- Continually evaluating and improving the procurement process to enhance procurement operations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and other systems.
- The ability to learn and adapt to new internal systems.
- Self-motivation and the ability to prioritize and schedule work independently.
