Your new role

As 'Conference & Events Manager' you'll be the face of The Education Exchange. This role would suit an existing Events Manager looking for a change or aspiring Event Coordinator looking for their first leadership position.

You will provide daily guidance and support to the events team; currently 1 x Café Supervisor, 1 x Apprentice Hospitality Supervisor and 1 x Receptionist.

With experience, you will also have the opportunity to support the Operations Team with projects spanning the whole trust.

You'll be a passionate leader with the ability to inspire, motivate, and support your team in order to exceed your commercial goals. You'll have high standards when it comes to delegate experience, understand brand standards and requirements and you'll take ownership and pride in your work. Being the face of the centre, you will reflect and project the standards and professionalism expected of our high achieving organisation.

As well as promotion and marketing of the centre, you will be the main coordinator, managing events including but not limited to receiving booking information, analysing need, arranging the relevant facilities which are required, liaising with internal and external contractors, working with finance to ensure budget requirements are met and oversee events from planning to delivery. You will also facilitate the smooth running of all events including being the main point of contact throughout any events.

You'll have a love for delivering amazing service as well as leading, inspiring, and engaging your team.

You will be well organised and able to manage multiple activities at the same time.
