**If so, we might have an exciting opportunity for you to join the UK Purchasing Team at Etex. As our new Strategic Buyer, you will be working in a team with three other strategic buyers. Together we support all the Etex factories and offices in the UK. We help our stakeholders getting best value for money and support the growth of the business by developing long term synergies and strategies.**

**Etex is a matrix organisation in which the Purchasing Community has professionalised significantly over the years. You’ll be working in a team that is responsible for supporting the UK businesses, but you will also be in regular contact with your European and Global colleagues to share information and best practices or to seek for opportunities to consolidate on a wider level.**

**Key Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to**:

- Driving procurement projects from start to finish
- Tendering and contract negotiation
- Managing supplier relationships and driving improvements in supplier performance
- Developing category strategies
- Delivering savings, working capital improvements, innovation, and quality

**What you’ll bring**:

- Strategic thinking skills
- Good analytical skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to be flexible an adapt to differing stakeholders
- Experience in managing projects
