KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-

We're looking for a proven NPD Programme coordinator to join the NPD team at Artisan Biscuits ltd.

Reporting to the directors, you will work as part of the NPD to manage and facilitate the launch of exciting new products in addition to ensuring that packaging and process changes are implemented in line with customer and industry standards.


DUTIES

  • Manage the entire process for all projects.
  • Accountable for the critical path and meeting deadlines
  • Briefs, liaises with, monitors the progress of, and where appropriate supervises, colleagues and various current and potential suppliers and customers.
  • Take specific responsibility for the packaging and printing process
  • Liaises with the bakery management and sales team, designers and packaging manufacturers and printers, and customers where appropriate for all packaging including labels, and all information (whether text or image) before external manufacture or use in production and formally approves it once all relevant departments have approved internally.
  • Ensures that all packaging (trays, foil, film, cartons, pouches, tins, outers) is suitable in materials, structure and dimensions for the brands and products contained within it and for the supply chain that it will be passed along up to and including pointofsale and makes use of them once they have been approved by 'Technical'.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • You will be an experienced NPD programme/projects coordinator with a passion for food and improving quality systems.
  • You will have demonstrable operational experience gained within a fast moving consumer goods environment within the food industry.

- A degree in a Science or Food Technology or experience in an influential Quality or Technical role is required.
This role is 100% site based to support the team, bakery employees and to deliver on project specifics daily.
