We're seeking a systems administrator to join our new product development team at our bakery in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. This role will report to the NPD Programme Coordinator, and provide admin support for the site based team.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-


Work within the NPD team in a practical and administration role, providing system support in relation to pack copy, bills of materials and artwork for new and existing products.


DUTIES

  • Check and approve BOP pack copy document as provided by the technical team
  • Ensure that all ingredients are preapproved by 'technical' before they are used in the bakery
  • Enters BOMS into Tropos and produces hard copies
  • Produces electronic hard copies of packaging specifications and finished goods specifications for review and issue as appropriate by Technical for new items
  • Checks and approve artwork as requested by NPD Programme coordinator

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • High level of numeracy and literacy
  • Experience of working within a food manufacturing environment (_1 year placement considered)_
  • Experience of back of pack copy and artwork checking
  • Some exposure to, and experience of, ERP systems
  • Organised methodical methods of working
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to record information accurately for trials and reports.
  • Flexibility to working hours of work to allow for trials on either shift and / or the occasional weekend shifts.

This role is 100% site based to support the team, no hybrid working given the nature of the role.
