We have an exciting new Lettings Negotiator role to join a very busy lettings agent in the centre of Durham.

They pride themselves of the highest level of customer service with their people at the heart of the business

What you will be doing

  • Communicating with tenants regarding any issues they may have
  • Placing online adverts for student lettings
  • Providing prospective tenants with viewings of managed properties
  • Creating tenancy agreements for all new tenants
  • Inspecting properties and liaising with landlords
  • Conducting move in & move out inspections and preparing the respective inventories
  • Liaising with Durham County Council regarding any HMO requirements
  • Instructing contractors to carry out any property maintenance
  • General office duties; filing, answering telephone, form completions

What you will have

  • Previous experience working as a Letting Negotiator is desirable but not essential
  • Hold a full, clean UK driving license
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
