Relief Medical Secretary

We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

The shift pattern for this position is Monday -Friday.

To provide comprehensive administration/ secretarial support to Departmental team of Clinicians and other healthcare professionals. Point of contact for patients.

  • Accurate Audio typist.
  • Liaise with a range of departments to ensure patient records are up to date and accurate with inpatient, day care, and outpatient investigatory results.
  • Deal with telephone and face to face enquiries from all staff groups, patients, relatives, carers, providing information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritises competing demands.
