Position Overview

In the role of a Care Support Specialist, you will provide essential assistance to two remarkable individuals with Autism. Your responsibilities will include supporting them on both a 2:1 and independent basis in all areas of their daily routines, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, medication management, and financial oversight. We also encourage you to engage creatively with their interests, which may involve attending sports events, enjoying nature walks, watching their favorite shows, or playing video games, all while fostering a fun and supportive environment.

A valid UK manual driving license with a minimum of one year of driving experience is preferred, as the individuals have access to their own vehicle; however, this is not a strict requirement for the right candidates.

Ideal Candidate Profile

While prior experience in care is advantageous, it is not mandatory, as we prioritize values and transferable skills in our recruitment process. We offer paid training and will cover the costs for your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and annual SSSC registration fees.

As the individuals we support may face communication challenges, a solid command of the English language is essential.
