Role Overview

We are currently looking for a committed Care Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide vital assistance to adults with learning disabilities, ensuring they receive the highest standards of care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized support services tailored to individual care plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to ensure safety and well-being.
  • Assist individuals in developing essential life skills and personal budgeting.
  • Support clients in accessing opportunities related to work, leisure, education, and employment.
  • Promote effective communication, equality, and social inclusion.
  • Participate in evaluating service effectiveness while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications and Skills

An SVQ Level 3 qualification is preferred, along with relevant experience in the field. Basic computer skills are necessary, and a respect for Christian values is essential as we operate within a faith-based framework. Membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) are required for this position.
