Haverhill, Suffolk, United Kingdom Axa Full time

Description:

We're expanding our Motor Claims team in Bolton and we are looking for you to start a rewarding career in AXA.

You'll be based in our newly refurbished Bolton office as a Motor Claims Handler within our Commercial Claims area and receive comprehensive training to support you on your career journey.

Aligning to AXA Commercial Insurance, Commercial Claims is a very diverse function bringing together Claims areas including Motor, Property and Casualty.

Our people are the most important factor in ensuring that we act for the customer and give a clear and consistent experience for them.

For you, it means you have huge amounts of opportunity to diversify your career as a Claims expert.

What you'll be doing:
You'll be responsible for a portfolio of Motor Claims from start to finish. You'll investigate and gather evidence to help bring each claim to the point of a conclusion.

This is a varied and interesting role; You'll understand that some claims are a result of a distressing or simply unfortunate incident, and therefore it's important you listen and act with empathy.

You'll recognise the signs of a fraudulent claim and refer these for further investigation when needed. Most of all, you'll take pride in the service you offer to all customers and partners.

Induction & Training:

You'll receive a comprehensive onsite induction from our specialist trainers to set you up for success in your new role.

At AXA we share a common purpose; to act for human progress by protecting what matters. We rely on people, just like you, to make this a reality.

We thrive on helping you become the best version on yourself so throughout your career we'll provide you with all the support and training necessary to enhance your professional development.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern:
Full time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Our typical hours are 9-5pm however we can work flexibly to these hours.

Following your initial induction training of typically 12 weeks in the office, you'll move to a hybrid way of working which typically means 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

This is so you have the best opportunities to connect with your team, innovate and learn.

We are planning an induction on the 13th March however we can offer start dates for when you are available.

Qualifications:

  • Motor Claims knowledge is essential. This can be Commercial or Retail Motor Claims in any industry setting.
  • Passionate about people and committed to growing your career at AXA.
  • Looking for opportunities to always learn and be part in shaping the future of our business.
  • An active listener who can demonstrate empathy, able to put yourself in our customers shoes to build key relationships.
  • Professional, confident and able to adapt quickly, as you will be dealing with different people, including, claimant lawyers, our customers, brokers and other insurance professionals.
  • Can contribute effective to team success, offering advice and coaching others to achieve their full potential.

What we offer:

One of the best things about joining AXA is our rewards package.

  • Opportunity to buy up to 5 extra days leave or sell up to 3 days leave
  • AXA product discounts
