About the Role:

We are excited to announce an opportunity within the Motor Engineering division at AXA. As a Technical Specialist, you will provide essential technical knowledge to our Motor Claims team, Brokers, and Clients while effectively managing and overseeing expenditure related to Motor Insurance Claims.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assess and negotiate settlements for all motor vehicle claims, maintaining direct communication with our clients.
  • Work within established timelines and business requirements, adapting to the needs of the organization.
  • Evaluate and audit the performance of repairers, offering insights on repair quality, costs, and customer service.
  • Foster and maintain professional relationships with a variety of suppliers.
  • Support all facets of the claims process for both insured and third-party claims to expedite resolution and minimize expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), aligning with our corporate values.

Your Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in assessing damage across various types of motor vehicles, particularly in the context of Motor Vehicle Insurance claims.
  • Familiarity with agricultural and commercial vehicles is advantageous.
  • Experience in damage estimation, negotiation of repair costs, and vehicle valuation.
  • Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA) for Vehicle Damage Assessment is a mandatory requirement.
  • Membership in the Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors (IAEA) is desirable but not essential.
  • Proficient in using the Audatex damage assessment system and CAP valuation software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
